I just received this from our friends Guardians of the Children. This is an event they hold twice a year (New Years and 4th of July) that helps to provide supplies to the homeless of San Antonio at the Strong Foundation Ministries.

JULY 4TH BOX n SOX
Open to all Bikers ... entry fee is a pair of socks, briefs (men or women all sizes), tooth brush, paste, soap, and the like.
• Meet at Wal-Mart Parking Lot at Loop 1604 & 281 N 8:00 am and purchase items if needed.
• Depart 9:30am. Police escorts provided. We will be riding 281South toward Downtown S.A. and riding thru town.
• Arrive at the Strong Foundation Ministries 415 N. Hackberry St.
• The BLOOD KNIGHTS will Barbeque for all the Riders.
Serve time @ 11:30 am. BadBuffalo will be providing music.

MESSAGE FROM BK TX IV PRESIDENT
As many of you know by now, the Blue Knights have been supporters of the Wounded Warrior Center at BAMC with the main fundraiser being the Texas Honor Ride. This year we will have the unique opportunity to tour the facility and interact with these brave men and women and I hope that you will join on the date provided below. I wanted to send this to you as early as possible so you could clear your calendar if need be. In addition, I BELIEVE there to be plans for lunch at the park where the Honor Ride is held at BAMC. I will send you further information and keep the website updated as it becomes available. We will also be developing a plan to meet with our fellow Knights from the Houston area and all get onto the base at one time.

INVITATION FROM BK TX VII
What a unique opportunity!!
We have arranged for any and all Blue Knights in the State of Texas to tour the Wounded Warrior Center located at the Brooks Army Medical Center on Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio Texas. Do not miss this opportunity! I have been there and taken a tour on the inside and it is an awesome facility. It should tug at your heart strings to see soldiers, some with their family there, resting and recuperating. The facility is most impressive and they already have plans for expansion.
